Hilary Kilgour is a Founder, Managing Director and Board Director committed to developing the capacity of Canada’s top innovators to address our most promising solutions to climate and health challenges. A systems mind with a collaborative nature, Hilary has been leading sustainable transformations for global brands for more than a decade. Her 15+ leadership experience spans Fortune’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies, and leading high-growth, global companies in diverse sectors. She has been recognized for her leadership by Corporate Knights, YWCA, and Clean50 for scaling impact for global organizations. Hilary has led local and global investor programs – including Future Capital (formerly Female Funders), Spring Activator’s first National Investor Challenge, VentureLAB’s Capital Investment Program and co-founded TheVenture.Fund as one of the country’s first funds focused on investing in women led ventures in climate and health. She has advised and supported more than 110 ventures in accessing capital – $28.2M capital raised, including entrepreneurs across Canada, US and Australia. She has served as a speaker and advisor for Google, Disney, lululemon, EDC, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. A recognized leader, Hilary is a frequent keynote speaker and facilitator on the topics of investing, innovation, scaling impact, leading cross-generational teams, and navigating change. With an MBA in Sustainable Systems from Presidio Graduate School, she completed her BAH from Queen’s University where she was an All-Canadian athlete and played alongside New Zealand’s Women’s League champions while on exchange at the University of Otago.
