Co-Founder & COO

Frontier Collective

As a serial founder, engaged citizen, community builder, visual artist and storyteller, Kassandra’s passion for entrepreneurship, economic development, international relations, and ecosystem building spans almost two decades of experience. She is a connector and strategizer, inspired by solving complex challenges. She has served as an international ambassador for Canadian business and entrepreneurship at global summits in South East Asia, Europe, South America and Canada including the 2010 G8/G20 Summit, the 2006 APEC Leaders Summit, and the 2012 G20 Young Entrepreneurs Summit. Over the years she has served in leadership positions with organizations ranging from Rotary International to the Vancouver Board of Trade and was part of the initial creation of several legacy community programs including the Surrey Board of Trade’s Tour of Industry, Surrey’s Top 25 under 25 Awards, and the Justice Hack. A believer in sharing knowledge, Kassandra has spoken across the country and at international conferences about community building, leadership, women in politics and is an active mentor in the tech/start-up community.

Kassandra has studied at the University of Montreal, NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering, and Kwantlen Polytechnic University where she was an active student sitting on the Board of Governors and helped found the university’s student paper. She was an original pioneer in the education technology space, co-founding one of Canada’s largest online publications for helping students transition into university, and hosting Canada’s largest virtual university and college fair event over a decade ago. In 2019, she would commit her career to her passion for the arts after several years of critical health challenges that would forever change her perspective. Having these challenges created a tabula rasa for Kassandra’s artistic interests which tend to swing between her right and left brain and lie at the intersection of art and technology. Driven by curiosity and the desire to create and mold, Kassandra currently spends her time working on building the future of innovation with the Frontier Collective serving as COO and dreaming about Granville Island 2040.
