Keri is an airport finance and technology manager with more than 19 years of experience in business development, accounting and risk management. She is passionate about relationship-building and is a strong leader who challenges herself – and others – to embrace new challenges and opportunities.
In her current role, Keri is the Director of Innovation at Vancouver Airport Authority, the governing body behind one of the best airports in the world. She is responsible for finance, strategy and business development related to the airport’s border management business, BORDERXPRESS™, which is the world’s first kiosk-based self-service border control solution. As of June 2020, there are 1,700 BORDERXPRESS kiosks operating in 43 airports and seaports, including four of the top five busiest airports in the U.S., and three of the top four busiest airports in Canada. This has helped more than 250 million passengers worldwide clear the border securely.
Recently, Keri was the project lead and product owner for the deployment of BORDERXPRESS kiosks at ITS’ first global sites – Pafos International Airport and Larnaka International Airport in Cyprus –as well as Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados. Her role involves providing ongoing support and counsel to these sites to ensure optimal customer service is maintained. The Cyprus launch was particularly noteworthy as this represents the first implementation of permanent kiosks for Entry and Exit border control in Europe.
Keri has worked for the Vancouver Airport Authority since 2001. Prior to her role as Manager of ITS, Keri held positions that include Credit and Collections Officer, Manager of Accounting Services, and Internal Auditor.
Keri holds a Certified Credit Professional Designation (CCP) from the Credit Institute of Canada.
