JUSTINE GAUTHIER

Justine Gauthier is the Director of Corporate & Legal Affairs at Mila, a prominent artificial intelligence research institute acting at the intersection of academia, government and industry. She leads Mila’s legal team and provides counsel on the legal, regulatory, and ethical implications of developing cutting-edge machine learning technologies. Justine is also involved in AI governance initiatives at the international, national and local level. Prior to joining Mila, Justine practiced corporate law at a top Canadian firm.
