Ramesh Jayakrishnan is the Vice President, New Payments Platforms for Mastercard Canada. He is responsible for the product, strategy and delivery of various new payments platforms products and services in Canada, which include real-time payments infrastructure, applications (overlay services) and other existing account-to-account payment solutions that Mastercard offers globally and in Canada.
He oversees the roll out and management of various money movement solutions in Canada, including Mastercard Cross Border Services, Mastercard Send and other upcoming applications for both retail and commercial payments, in partnership with financial institutions, fintech partners and central schemes.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Ramesh held positions at TD Canada Trust and ICICI Bank in Canada as well as American Express in India. His areas of expertise include cross border and domestic push payments, real-time payments, payments modernization and new product delivery.
