Molecular You

Rob is a senior health technology executive with an innovative career focused on improving healthcare, through leading edge scientific research and the development of more effective personalized drug and lifestyle therapies. Together with others he has been applying these scientific breakthroughs to the pioneering of disruptive therapies, consumer-oriented health, wellness, and lifestyle experiences. The consistent theme: creating better value and healthier lives for individuals, practitioners, and payers.

Rob was the founding CEO and is the current President and CSO of Molecular You Corporation. Molecular You has revolutionized human health understanding with early predictive disease detection that was previously invisible. Molecular You’s Health Transparency System uses AI-powered blood testing to allow individuals to understand their current health risks and enables risk-bearing entities to predict and manage healthcare costs accurately and effectively.

Molecular You was spun out of the Personalized Medicine Initiative (PMI) which Rob co-founded with other world-leading scientists and clinicians in Canada to develop the framework and technologies to bring personalized medicine into healthcare practice.  As the Chief Operating Officer of the PMI, Rob supported the establishment of six new companies including Molecular You. he has been involved in the raising of more than $50M in funding and is co-founder of GenXys Health Care Systems, Mesentech Corporation, Novobind and myCNTRL.

Backed by his expertise in advanced molecular diagnostics, targeted drug discovery and development, biochemistry and regulatory compliance, Rob was involved in leading drug discovery and development at Sanofi, Xenon, Neuromed and CDRD (now AdMare).  Rob received multiple awards and scholarships to support his extensive training in physiology, molecular biology and biochemistry at the University of Alberta, Harvard Medical School. Hospital for Sick Children and Institue Genomique, Biologie Moleculaire, Cellulaire (IGBMC). In addition to Rob’s scientific and industry accomplishments, Rob has been an active member in his community volunteering for multiple sporting and other not-for profit organizations. He also enjoys cooking, water sports, hiking in the mountains and streams and making with his hands incorporating sustainable practices.
