Sam Pillar is the CEO and co-founder of Jobber, the leading operations management platform provider for home service businesses. Sam studied computer science and business and has a Commerce degree from the University of Alberta. He launched Jobber in 2011 with his co-founder, Forrest Zeisler, after working as a freelance software developer for several years.
While freelancing Sam noticed that many small business owners were relying on pen and paper or a combination of disparate tools to run their businesses, and it didn’t work well. This led to the insight that these businesses share common denominator challenges that could be solved by a single easy-to-use product. Jobber is now used by over 200K service pros in 50+ industries and helps customers deliver billions in services every year. The company has raised $176M USD in funding to date.
